Born and bred in Norfolk, David always knew he wasn't cut out for the quiet country life. At an early age all he was interested in was music. Starting the drums at 11 years old and DJing at the age of 13. He started DJing Happy hardcore, listening to the likes of DJ Brisk and Clarkee. He quickly realised there was many different genres that he wanted to master mainly Drum & Bass and Hip Hop, which to this day are still his favourites to play.
David quickly became a big fan of all hip hop at the time, spending all his time listening to artists such as Ice-T, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, N.W.A. and many more. His favourite albums are 'Home Invasion' and 'It takes a nation of millions to hold us back'. He knew that this would be a genre that would stay with him for the rest of his life.
He thought that he had mastered the art of DJing until he discovered 'tunrnablism' which opened up a brand new outlook on things. After listening to the artists that have achieved this skill (DJ Shadow, Qbert, Yoda, Mix master mike, Cut Chemist and many many more) he bought his first butter rugs and Shure M44's and began to perfect the scratch.
In 2005 he came to London to pursue his dream as a professional musician in the industry through drumming, DJing, remixing and producing in his home studio.
His DJing has taken him all over London, over many different genres but most noticeably at ‘The Garage’, 'Babalou' and ‘Ministry of Sound’.
With so many projects on the go David wanted to concentrate on a few main ones, so is in the process of setting up nights across London with some great DJ's behind him.
